Flight training is not reserved for any single background, age, or career path. It is for anyone who decides to pursue it.

PATH 02 · THE HEAD START · FOR AGES 12 - 15

Junior Aviator Program

Here is what most people do not know. There is no minimum age to start flight training or to log time with an instructor. You must be 16 to fly solo and 17 to earn your Private Pilot certificate. That leaves years of runway. The Junior Aviator who starts now walks into their 17th birthday ready for a checkride, not starting from zero.

A STRUCTURED CURRICULUM

Junior Aviators work through the same curriculum we use to train certificated pilots, in plain language and at the right pace. Flight, weather, navigation, and airspace, the how and the why.

FLIGHTS WITH AN INSTRUCTOR

Logged dual time in the Cessna that counts toward a future certificate..

TIME IN THE REDBIRD MCX

Real procedures and real decision-making in our full-motion simulator. The lowest-cost way to build genuine skill.

MENTORSHIP AND THE PATHWAY

Exposure to careers in aviation and the community to get you there.

Already came to a Victors summer camp? Junior Aviator is the next step, a year-round path instead of a single week.

PATH 03 · OPEN TO ALL PILOTS

Train in the Simulator

Our Redbird MCX is a full-motion, FAA-approved simulator. It builds real skill at half the cost of the airplane, and it is the one place you can make every mistake and walk away. You do not have to be our student to fly it.

01 - COMPLEMENT YOUR TRAINING

Master a maneuver on the ground before you burn fuel in the air. Struggle with an approach? In the airplane you fly a six-minute pattern to try again. In the sim we hit reset and you are back on final in ten seconds.

02 - TRAIN TOWARD YOUR RATING

Log up to 20 hours of your Private Pilot training in the Redbird at half the hourly cost of the aircraft. A large share of instrument training can be completed here too.

03 - STAY CURRENT AND PROFICIENT

Already rated? Hold your instrument currency, knock the rust off after a layoff, and rehearse emergencies you cannot safely practice in the airplane. You do not have to train at Victors to fly our sim.

  • PAUSE & REPEAT - Reset in seconds instead of minutes.

  • WEATHER ON DEMAND - Crosswinds, storms, and night flying at two on a clear afternoon.

  • COST EFFICIENCY - Figure it out on the ground so you do not pay to figure it out in the air.
