The Wingman Challenge Explained

What happens in a Wingman Challenge

Your group splits into flight crews. Each crew is briefed by a Certified Flight Instructor, then takes the controls of the full-motion simulator. Every flight is scored. When the last crew lands, the winners are crowned and every guest takes home a gift.

01

Brief

Crews are formed and the mission is set.

02

Fly

Each crew member flies a scored scenario.

03

Score

A live leaderboard tracks every crew.

04

Debrief

Awards, bragging rights, and lessons that carry back to work.

Why it works. Friendly competition builds trust faster than any icebreaker. The debrief turns fun into a lesson in communication, focus, and decision-making under pressure. People who compete together remember it.

Food and Bar

We handle the catering

Catered by Union Joints

Slow-smoked barbecue, scratch-made sides, and comfort food done right. Union Joints is a Detroit-area favorite, and the spread lands the way a great event should: generous, hearty, and impossible to ignore. Think brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken, mac and cheese, and cornbread, built with you for your group.

The Wingman Challenge, Wheels Up, and Take Flight each include a catering credit. Preflight includes light bites. Want more? We arrange it and bill the difference. Outside food is not permitted.

Before you book

Do guests need flying experience?

No. Every simulator session is guided by a Certified Flight Instructor. Most guests have never been in a cockpit.

Can we bring more than 20 guests?

Preflight, The Wingman Challenge, and Wheels Up are capped at 20 to keep simulator time meaningful. Take Flight accommodates up to 50. For larger groups, ask us about a custom event.

No. All food is provided by Union Joints and arranged by Victors Aviation.

Is alcohol available?

Yes, through a licensed bar provider arranged as part of your event. Victors Aviation is not licensed to sell or serve alcohol.

When can we book?

Preflight, The Wingman Challenge, and Wheels Up run year-round. Take Flight is a hangar event offered April through November. Ask us about hangar availability outside that window. Evening events typically begin at 5:00 pm.

How do we hold a date?

A 50 percent deposit secures your date. The balance is due 7 days before the event.

What if we need to cancel?

The deposit is non-refundable. If the balance is not received 7 days before the event, the event is automatically canceled. Once paid, the balance is also non-refundable.

Is there parking?

Yes. Free on-site parking at 2676 Industrial Row Drive, Troy.

What is the minimum age?

16 and older for simulator sessions. Guests under 18 need a parent or guardian present.
